The UV Test Cabinet is a piece of test equipment used to observe how materials behave when exposed to sunlight and UV radiation over time. Any deformation that may occur on the surfaces of paints, plastics, coatings, and similar materials can be observed inside this cabinet in a significantly shorter time than outdoor environment testing. Manufacturers can therefore assess how their products will be affected by outdoor conditions before deployment, enabling more accurate decisions in design, material selection, and quality control.

The UV Test Cabinet is used for accelerated aging tests of various materials, with programmable UV lamps, user-defined test durations, and precisely adjustable, lockable temperature control. The time-dependent response of plastics, paints, coatings, polymers, and similar materials under UV light can be observed within this cabinet.

This system allows the raw materials used in product development, quality control, and R&D to be evaluated for long-term outdoor behaviour in a fraction of the actual field exposure time.
